COMMENTS: An illustrated 40 page booklet. The contents include the history of Death Valley Ranch owned by Albert Mussey Johnson a Chicago insurance millionaire. It was more commonly called Scotty's Castle, after Walter Scott, an ex-rodeo rider turned prospector, who monopolized the front pages of American newspapers for over 50 years for his flamboyant escapes. The booklet contains, maps, photos, plans and architectural drawings. The castle was never completed.

CONDITION: Light wear and rubbing to covers.
