Eagle Engineering Co Potato Slicer Early 20th Century

This is almost 100 years old. It was created by the Eagle Engineering Co of Springfield, OH and was patented April 9, 1918.

It's 14" long to the end of handle, and is in good condition for it's age. But I don't know if it's usable or if anyone would want to use it. It looks usable, everything seems to be in place on it, and it turns, but I don't think anyone would want to use it. It doesn't appear to be a easy item to cut potatoes with.

It's a great collectible for those that collect old cast iron pieces though. This is the first one of it's kind I've seen since becoming an Antique dealer.

My husband and I own and operate an Antique Mall. This is where I get all my Antiques, Collectibles and Vintage items. Please keep in mind that because of this, there might be a time when, an item gets bid on that was just sold in my store that very same day. I always take items off my shelves as soon as I get a bid. But, sometimes the time frame just conflicts. This isn't intentional. When this happens, I'll notify you not to pay, as I can't end the item when it has a bid on it. I personally won't send an invoice in this instance. However some people pay immediately. If this happens I will refund your money.

I strive to give an accurate description of my items, along with several pictures. If you have a question, please feel free to contact me, I will always get back to you within 12 hours or less. If you don't hear from me within this time frame, I'm either ill, or some emergency has come up. If you have a problem, I will take care of it, if humanly possible. Customer Service is very important to me.
