This is a hardcover edition of The Story of Bing Crosby, written by Ted Crosby and published by The World Publishing Company.  The latest copyright date given is September 1946, and this is a self-stated First Printing.  From the dust jacket: "Here is an informal biography of America's most beloved singer, written by his brother.  The book traces the career of Bing Crosby from the time he arrived in Spokane as a boy of five up to the present time, including his receiving the Academy Award in 1944 for his performance in the film Going My Way. . . . Bob Hope has written a hilariously funny Foreword, and the book is further augmented by a complete list of Bing Crosby's recordings--invaluable to the collector, or to anyone interested in his singing--and a list of his movies.  There are also a great many photographs of Crosby and of the people he has been associated with in his career and in his private life."  Length is 239 pages.

This copy is in good condition overall, with the following defects noted.  The dust jacket is a bit scuffed and edgeworn, but else is very nice with an intact price code of 0100 on the front flap.  The boards are a bit faded and the spine shows minor reading damage.  The pages have yellowed and several pages are uncut, but an exacto-knife would help with the latter.  The lower edges of a few pages are a bit ragged from previous cutting, but overall the pages are in nice shape.  This title is scarce in any condition, so don't miss your chance to buy it now.
