Federal Glass
Homestead Snack Plates
These glass snack trays with a depression for a cup were made by the
Federal Glass Company in the 1950's.
They were originally part of a Hospitality or Hostess Snack Set.
_____
The pattern is incised on the underside in a beautiful wheat shaft design.
Two of the snack plates are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. One has some small surface scratches and a surface discoloration that I assume is mineral deposits from water.
There a few light scratches around the outside of the the bottom of the plates,
and a few of the usual manufacturing flaws such as a couple of bubbles
in the glass and a few straw marks.
_____
The plates measure 10.25" by 7.125" and .75" deep.
The cup depression is 1.75" across.
Price shown is for the set of three. For international pricing please contact us. Thanks for looking!
