Blowing out the last of these dresses from high end label SAGA. It's a gorgeous dress with a one of a kind vibe. Found in all those teensy 1OAKindy boutiques. These have boutique sizing and you have your choice; but I ask that you let me know which size you want when you make your payment. Right now I have Size 2 (M-L) or Size 3 (L-XL).
It's a gorgeous sage green.
The dress starts with elastic lingerie straps and there's lots of room for movement. All around the top of the dress there is nice soft elastic tiny "U" trim. This is pieced, and the inset pieces are the same slate blue with beige polka dots. Now, I'm not a polka dot gal myself, and that conjers up some hideous dance recital dress when I was 6 years old. But this one. OH MAN! It's nice. Especially with that rumpled accordion pleating and the uneven jaggedy bottom of the dress.
But I digress....running down the "polka dot" panel are loops on either side and nice big fabric laces. You can adjust these too. I'm showing you a couple of close ups of that so you can see. You can also see the added lace pieces at the front --those are sewn "so far" along with some ribbon and from there the pieces just hang in that "I don't care" look. There are ties on either side that you can tie in back, but with everything else going on, you could leave them untied and no one would notice. But if you want to cinch the waist in somewhat, you can tie in back.
Oh, and this is poly but I've gotta add, it's not the Disco Dan poly of the Saturday Night Fever fame, it's a heavier fabric with a nice "hand". I did nothing to this dress except give it a shake before I hung it for the picture. You could steam this out if you wanted, but it just looks so darn good rumpled. Of course, this makes it the perfect traveler, too. Roll it up in your suitcase and give it a shake and look like the Belle of the Ball. Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry.
These are $149. As you can see, I've whacked the price to move out the last of them.
Measurements are taken across the front only, so double and then subtract your own "wiggle room".
All measurements are taken without stretching, though some stretching will occur, sorry. There's a good 4" or more of stretch, too!
