What a gorgeous SILK dress! The color is Chocolate. This one ROCKS! They are sized, and that sweetheart style bodice heavy cotton knit with a bunch of stretch so bear that in mind when you are viewing the measurements. The huge skirt part is silk and it is hand washable too! The bodice has princess seaming and it's sleeveless. These dresses also look great with a shorter jacket or shrug to complete that Lagenlook. The big silk parachute bottom dress has ties underneath in 8 places for you to tie where you like to make it shorter/fuller or longer and less full. It's definitely a fun dress to play with. Again, the skirt part is washable silk and it's also lined in even lighter cotton. The lining is short, but does cover your bum. This is a great dress for any time of year-- especially if you're doing the layering or lagenlook. ***Measurements*** Measurements are taken with the garment layed flat and measured across the front only. Be sure to double and then subtract your own "wiggle room". Remember too that the top is a heavy cotton knit so there's a good amount of stretch. The top should be rather fitted. Don't panic when you read the measurements. There's a good 4" of stretch which I didn't include in the measurements. They are simply side to side measurements. Size Small

Hips: Because of the amount of fabric, hips truly are FREE
Length: 57" and then you play with the ties. When I tied them all the way up it measured something like 49".

If you have a big petticoat, wear it underneath like I'm showing in the picture. The petticoat is not for sale, though. We had to scour the globe for one.
The bells and whistles this one has will keep you going back for it again and again! What a fun dress!
