Vintage Wood - Wooden Doll Dresser - Bureau or Desk

I just purchased this very nice wooden piece from a Local Estate Sale.

I've no idea when it dates to.

It is very nicely done - made of good quality wood - sorry I do not know which wood.

Measures approx. 11 3/4" wide X 4" deep X 4 1/2" tall

There are four working front drawers with metal handles/knobs.

Drawers are removable.

Each drawer measures approx. 4" X 3 3/4"

Very Good condition A couple of small scratches in the surface of the wood. Rounded corners.

When I first bought this piece I assumed it was a desk, but there is an extra piece on the back that has a slot in the top. I am thinking perhaps the slot once held a mirror (which is missing) so maybe it is really a bureau or a dresser?

Would work fine for either use.
