As many of you know, I specialize in finding old American reporting pictures and stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Here is the full oversized page w pictures and text entitled In and Around Trebizond, the Turkish Port Which Russian Has Just Captured as it appeared in this old American magazine New York Times Mid Week Pictorial in 1916. Many pictures of Trebizond inc. fortifications of the Turks along with picture of natives and scenes of this Black Sea waterfront and port. My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the Ebay entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hours but OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD AMERICAN REPORTING HISTORY.
