AN AMERICAN AMERICAN REPORTING TREASURE

RARE PICTORIAL ARCHIVES
CRAFTY ALICE & PRINCE MARLO
OVER WATER JUMP

TRAINING FOR THE GRAND NATIONAL IN THE SURREY AMATUER'S HANDICAP STEEPLECHASE IN ENGLAND

As many of you know, I specialize in finding old american reporting stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Here is the pictorial cover and text story entitled In Training for the Grand National at Aintreee in as reported in 1935 by the American Publication Mid-Week Pictorial. According to this magnificient equine cover, Crafty Alice, Owned by Tom Walls, led Prince Marlo over the water jump in the Surrey Amatuers' Handicap Steeplechase in England. REPORTING OF THIS GREAT EVENT FOR OUR ENGLISH EQUESTRIAN FRIENDS .
My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the Ebay entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hours but
OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD REPORTING of equestrian events.
What a story Rare Story!!! Great Pictures. You will love it as it was saved from this old american magazine of many years ago. Buyer pays First class postage of $3.50. Priority Mail will be $4.75. International postage at cost Interntional at cost, $11.00 U. S. Dollars)
Thanks, Tom
