WORLD'S LARGEST PLANE, RUSSIAN MAXIM GORKY JUST BEFORE CRASHING

As many of you know, I specialize in finding old american stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Here is the story entitled The World's Largest Land Plane which was Wrecked with a loss of 48 lives. She was the pride of the Soviet Union but broke into pieces at the height of 2,300 feet as reported in 1935 by the American Publication Mid-Week Pictorial. REPORTING OF THIS GREAT EVENT FOR OUR AVIATION FRIENDS . My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the Ebay entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hours but OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD AMERICAN reporting of Aviation events.
