Folks, as many of you know, I specialize in finding old stories of long ago that have been overlooked, seldom found and rarely read. Well, here is one of the best in one of the most unusual western publications I have ever found. Included are old photos (indexed below) and a history of Belle with a romanticized drawing by Phil Hexom. Heck, I lived in Dallas all my life and little did I know that Belle lived right around the corner. Course, there was a little difference in time but here is a great short story of life among honest folks, and naturally, a few bad hombres. Tells of her escapades, scrapes with the law, names of her husband and a few lovers she had on the side. Well written and researched, I think you will like this one entitled:

While others clip ads from magazines, I save history. It’s a shame that our past is being lost. It’s as simple as that.

My wife kids me that after I find a piece I like, buy it, read it, research it, take a picture, scan it, write the blurb, pay the Ebay entry fee and commission, that I end up making about 50 cents an hour. But, OH HOW I LOVE THIS OLD WESTERN HISTORY. What a story, Rare Story!!! Great Pictures. You will love it as it was published in this old complete and seldom found western magazine of many years ago. This is a collector’s issue in that it is the Second Edition of a hard to find and unusual titled western. The issue is in excellent condition, the cover is pristine and in vibrant color.
