This great Whiting Davis silver tone ring has a hematite stone in a silver tone bezel setting. The stone measures approximately 1 x 3/4". It has facet cut edges. Hematite is called the "stone of mental mastery." There is quite a bit of information online about its properties. This stone does have a small scratch which is shown in a photo. It pretty much only shows at a certain angle. With a magnifying glass I saw more wear in the stone. I understand hematite is "self healing" and all should rub out. I will not attempt to do this however, as I really wouldn't know how.

The ring itself is in very good condition. There is some minor wear on the band that could be seen with a magnifying glass, otherwise not so noticable.

This has the Whiting Davis mark that they began using in 1926. I don't know how long they used this signature, so I can't date this ring except that they stopped making non-mesh jewelry in 1980, so it is at least almost 30 years old. Great condition for its age.

My ring sizer indicates it is a size 6.
