Vintage 1960's Smashing Little Black Silk Chiffon Mini Cocktail Dress
Turn heads at the next cocktail party as you swish by in this HOT little Vintage 1960's Mini.
Not only is it gorgeous but it is so very easy to wear. It has a simple "A" line shift cut, and it zippers in the back. It is 2 (3 layers of skirt) layers the lining is an acetate slip with the silk chiffon ruffle that starts at just below the waist and goes down, then a silk chiffon tunic over that(attached in the back below the zipper) it is shorter than the first layer so it has a full swishy skirt. There is no maker tag but I am quite sure that this came out in 1968 when the couture of the moment was to mimic the 1920's Flapper style. This is of very high quality fabric and the construction is excellent. There is no damage to it, and my home is smoke free.
There are so many ways to change the look of this too, it is short enough to pair it with some bell bottom slacks, or add a long silk slip under to make it a maxi.
