This calibrated specimen of golden citrine is November's birthstone, and is a member of the quartz family. As such, it is a durable, semi-precious gemstone, measuring 7 on the Moh's hardness scale, making it suitable for use in everyday jewelry, such as a birthstone ring.

This particular stone is a calibrated emerald cut, measuring 7x5, and weighs .88 ct. It will fit any standard setting.

As with all stones offered here for sale, it has been tested on a refractometer for identification. I will often show the pavillion side of the stone, to allow you to see the facets that are responsible for all the fire in the stone.
