The new 2009 Mongoose Boot’R builds upon the old EC-D platform and improves
upon it in just about every aspect. Impressively almost all of the suggestions we had for it were
answered with the new Boot’R. The Boot’R is available in two build options,
Boot’R and Boot’R Team. For this review, we take a look at the Boot’R Team which
comes with higher quality parts.
The Boot’R offers something that is hard to compete with, affordable
performance. At an MSRP price of $4000 the Mongoose Boot’R Team is spec’d
impeccably well with components like a SRAM X.O rear derailleur, a Vivid 5.1,
RockShox Boxxer Team, and many other high end parts. It is very hard (near
impossible) for any manufacturer to build a bike like this at the same price
