A 19th century Victorian Trade Card advertising the services of "M. Prince, Auctioneer & Commission Merchant, New and Second Hand Furniture, Bedding, all kinds of Sewing Machines, Pianos, Etc., Etc., Regular Sales Day, Saturday, Santa Rosa, Cal." Printed in the lower left white margin is, "Copyright by Henry Seifert A. D. 1883." The card measures 4 1/4" tall by 2 13/16" wide. The front of the card shows a young man or boy looking over a Victorian day bed. A chest of drawers is in the background. An overturned chair, a hassock, and a mouse is in the foreground. The back is blank. There are some wrinkles at three corners and at the midpoints of the left and right edge. The precise condition is visible in the pics. This is a rare subject in Victorian advertising trade cards.
