A 19th century Victorian Trade Card advertising Bay State Fertilizer which was manufactured by The Clark's Cove Guano Company, New Bedford, Mass. The card front shows a man's head on a body that is composed of a watermelon. On the card back Edmund Grinnell is stated to be the company president and Samuel Ivers the treasurer. The card measures 5 3/16" by 2 15/16". The condition, which is exceptionally nice, is shown in the pictures that accompany the listing.
