Circa 1880's-1890's cabinet photo of a man holding two fighting roosters. Sticking partly out of his pockets are heavy protective gloves. But, he holds the roosters barehanded. Quite a rare subject for a cabinet photo. There is no photographer's identification on the mat. The photo was found in York, Pa. But, we do not know where the photo was taken.

The mat measures 6" by 4 1/16". There is trim to the mat on all four sides which slightly touches the background of the photo at some points. There are a couple of flaws at the top & bottom borders of the mat. There is a pinspeck scuff just in from the left border. There is a thin dark line 1" up from the left bottom border. The condition of this cabinet photo can be clearly seen in the accompanying image.
