Imperial or boudoir cabinet photo of 14 Chinese children. Fourteen children are posed in a photographer's studio setting. An exceptionally interesting & rare photo in any size but especially in this large format. The photo is circa 1880's-1890's. The two left corners of the matt are a bit bumped & have minor flaws. There is a 3/16" by 1/32" nick off of the left border of the mat which shows more on the back than on the front.

The photo w/mat measures 8 3/8" by 5 3/16". There is a very early collector's paper sticker with a number at the bottom right corner. There is no photographer's identification on the mat. The precise condition of the photo is visible in the pics.
