A 19th century Victorian Trade Card advertising Neal's Carriage Paints which were manufactured by "Acme White Lead & Color Works, Sole Manufacturers, Detroit, Michigan." The distributor name stamped on the lower part of the card back was "J. P. Grosvenor, Richville, N.Y. The card measures 4 1/2" tall by 2 3/4". The front of the card shows an Irish man speaking to another Irish man as he is driving his horsedrawn wagon. "Patsy" says, "It's an illegant dog cart ye have there Mahoney." "Mahoney" replies, "It's no dog cart Patsy, but me ould mud card wid wan coat av Neal's Carriage Paint on it." Printed in the white margin of the lower left corner is, "Calvert Lith Co. Detroit, Mich." The condition is shown in the pictures that accompany the listing. There is a slight diagonal crease to one corner. It is almost just a wrinkle rather than a crease.
