A cabinet photograph of two boxers circa 1890's to 1905. One boxer wears sailor's clothing. The other has a sash around his waist that bears the stars and stripes. We believe that they are Army and Navy boxers. The cabinet measures 5 1/4" by 7 3/8". The photographer's information: "Saylor's, New York Gallery, 411 N. Sixth St., Reading, PA," is impressed in the mount below the photo. There is foxing across the image and edge and surface wear to the gray mount. One upper corner of the cabinet has been bumped, is soft, and shows damage on the back side. The photo's condition is shown in the accompanying picture. There is a number, "55591," in script penciled on the back.
