A 19th century oversized Victorian Trade Card advertising Royal Baking Powder, Office 171 Duane St., N.Y. The scene on the front of the card shows the Manufactory of the Royal Baking Powder Company and "The Great Suspension Bridge Between New York and Brooklyn, New York Elevated Rail Road etc." as printed on the lower white margin. Test results by a government chemist on the properties of various baking powders from a New York Tribune article of 1880 are printed on the card back. The card measures 6 1/2" by 4 1/8". The condition is shown in the pictures that accompany the listing. There are some diagonal creases to three of the corners.
