19th century stereoview photo of the interior of a barbershop. The barber is pulling a rotary wheel on a pulley across a partially bald man's head. Quite a strange barber's tool! In the background there is a Rossetter's Hair Restorer advertising sign, a Liquid Hair Dye sign, & a group of wigs on wig stands. The back of the card is inked "The Pleasures of the Rotary". There is a back label on the card of the photographer "James Cremer 18 South Eight St., Philadelphia".
The card measures 6 15/16" by 3 7/16". We are estimating that the view dates circa 1870's-1890's. The pics clearly show the exact condition.
