I don't know how old this container is but I've had it for over 30 years and it was old when I got it. No name of maker or company on it anywhere but it's a lovely lime green glass oval shaped covered bowl or container. It's not mint condition, does have a few little tiny dings that can be felt more than seen on the edge of the rim of the bowl and lid. No major cracks or chips and it displays beautifully. 8 inches long 6 inches wide and about 3 and 1/2 inches tall.

Hi I just wanted to let you know that this was made by Hocking and is considered Depression glassware. It is called an Oval Refrigerator Jar. The color is called Transparent Green to collectors. It came in different sizes and measurements. If you have a black light you can test it and see if it glows, although that is not necessary. Just thought I would share this info with you. Hope that helps some.
