Vintage Child Life 4086 Basket of oranges, milk can,chicken

This set of figurines is stamped Royal Crown with a picture of a crown and trademark symbol. The words "Child Life" are under the crown and the number 4086 under that. There is a paper name tag with "Farm Frolics" glued to the front of the base.

The girl is holding a basket of oranges in one hand and a single orange in the other. The boy has a milk jug in one hand and an unidentifiable item (curved knife or horn of some kind?) in the other. They both have a rooster at their feet.

I have no idea what the age of the figurines is, but likely to be in the 1960's to 1970's range like Hummel figurines I am selling and from what I have found in researching.

The girls is in good vintage condition with only minor crazing on the underside of her skirt. The boy has the end of his kerchief broken, but it isn't noticeable from the front. You can see it in the second picture.
