Rhodium plated metal pin is prong set with clear rhinestones in 2 layers. The outer and lower layer has 8 square rhinestones with 2 baguette rhinestones between each of them. The top inner layer has 1 square rhinestone in the middle, 4 baguettes to the side, and 3 teardrops 2 which have small rhinestones attached. (Here is where a picture is worth a thousand words)

It is unsigned, but clearly of designer quality. It could very well be Weiss as you can see from the 1952 ad and patent picture.

The brooch is 1 1/2 inches square and 1/3 inch deep, excluding the clasp.

This piece has heft to it and the quality of the design and manufacturing can clearly be seen.
