This lovely spiderweb turquoise necklace is composed of graduated beads.  The smallest beads are 6.87 mm and 7mm, largest 15.71 mm. The sizes of the matching beads are slightly different, indicating that these are probably not machine made.

These beads test similar to a known piece of turquoise. They may well be dyed and/or stabilized as the color is fairly even.

This necklace has the most wonderful color!

With 14 inches of graduated beads, the wearable length is only 14 1/2 inches including clasp. This gorgeous piece was obviously made for a slender neck. Could easily be restrug or a new piece created with these beautiful and vivid beads.

I have absolutely no idea when they were purchased, it has been in the family for sometime and belonged to either my mother or grandmother.

The silver/silvertone fishhook clasp is unmarked, but polished with a sunshine cloth. The thread is showing some wear.
