VINTAGE AVON JEWELRY
1975 Eclipse Ring
Built in ring guard makes a snug fit on most fingers. Avon's first jewelry came out in 1965 with a perfume pin. Officially, Avon entered the market of selling jewelry in May of 1971.
Most rings are stamped inside the band though some are not marked. Avon costume jewelry is triple-plated for longer wear; the third and final layer is composed of a precious metal, such as Silver, Rhodium, or 23k Gold. Avon jewelry was made nickel-free for fewer allergic reactions. |
