With the appearance of Frank Miller's seminal Batman: The Dark Knight Returns 3-issue series came a wave of publications about Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego. This is one of the better, more informative ones. Edited by Hal Schuster, this book thoroughly explores the Batman's differnt facets, including his original, his motivations, and the other classic traditions and tropes of the Batman. The book covers everything from his initial Golden Age appearnance in Detective 27 to the above-mentioned Dark Knight series. Well researched, well written, and sprinkled throughout with some excellent art from the comics, this belongs on every true Batman fan's shelf and maybe on your favorite superhero admirer's or comic historian's shelf. In my research on this item, I've seen some outrageous prices. I'm offering up at cover price, and welcoming all hagglers. Come and get it.
I will gleefully add multiple purchase weights for a postal discount.
