This gorgeous bag is from my personal collection, and belonged to my mother.

Offered is a Ladies Medium Brown Vintage 1940s Purse Handbag. Silk or Satin material, with 2 inside compartments, and a pouch. The bottom of the purse expands.

Measures 9-1/2" x 6".

The sewn-in tag reads

"Made in Italy for G. Fox & Co., Inc."

(G. Fox & Co. was a High-End, renowned department store located in Hartford, CT. It was privately owned by Beatrice Aurbach, who later sold to the Filene's Dept. Stores.)

Very Good to Excellent condition previously loved condition.
