I am able to purchase quality spices and ingredients in bulk from a choice of four organic health food stores in my area and I have found out that there is no reason for me, or you, to spend from $1.50 to $2.00 at the grocery store for a packet of gravy mix that weighs less than 1 ounce, contains too much salt and makes only 1 scant cup of gravy! And why pay over $4.00 for a brownie, cake or cookie mix that does not contain real cocoa and if you want nuts, you need to buy them separately? Finally, do you really want to pay top dollar for less natural ingredients, but more artificial coloring, flavors, preservatives and extenders?
