Our inventory is small & selective; every book is carefully evaluated in terms of interest and condition. We grade books conservatively based on Independent Online Bookseller Association standards and verify first editions using accepted trade references.

Our listings are detailed so that you will always know exactly what to expect and can fully evaluate whether a book meets your needs and interests. We care about "why" books are important, and so try to provide a sense of context as well as condition descriptions.

Payment: We accept Google Checkout, Paypal, checks drawn in US funds and cash. Payment must clear prior to shipping.

Shipping: We generally ship via USPS media mail, with delivery confirmation and third-party insurance. All books are meticulously packaged and shipped in well-padded boxes.

Returns: We are happy to accept returns within two weeks if a book is not as described. Books must be returned in "as shipped" condition. Please contact us in advance to receive full return instructions. We refund all costs for returns due to a listing discrepancy.

International buyers: We will ship to most countries. Please contact us prior to purchasing so that we can provide you with shipping options and costs.
