Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth Overview

I specialize in vintage juvenile series books. My primary focus is upon girls' series books such as Nancy Drew, Judy Bolton, the Dana Girls, and others. I am also interested in vintage boys' series books, although to a lesser degree.

I tend to over-describe flaws in my books because I have been disappointed in the condition of many of the books that I have purchased for my collection.

Most sellers do not inform buyers when the spines are slanted or when the hinges are cracked or split. Many sellers photograph only the front of the book and do not describe the condition of the spine.

I always show the spines of the books and always describe the flaws. I usually get less for my books than other sellers because I do not state that all of my books are the most beautiful, gorgeous, rare books that I have ever seen. It actually takes a lot to impress me.

I do not use the traditional standardized grading system for my books because that grading system is misused by many sellers. I describe my books in terms of how much wear they have: very light, light, moderate, heavy, or very heavy. Books that are described as having very light wear are usually close to "as new" condition. This should give you an idea of how I describe my books.

Booth Policies

All books are shipped securely packaged in boxes, with adequate padding, and protected against moisture exposure. Books are usually shipped within one business day after payment is received.
