Up for your consideration today is this Primitive Valentine Heart Make Do. I love creating make dos with these wonderful old wooden bobbins! This Primitive Valentine Make Do would be perfect displayed atop a favorite shelf or tucked inside a treasured olde cupboard or anywhere in your home that needs a little touch of Valentine charm. Keep this Primitive Make Do out all year round!!

The Primitive Heart was machine sewn from a wondferful heart themed red homespun and generously stuffed with polyester fiberfill. The pocket features tiny white hearts on a deep red background. The heart was grubbied with my coffee/cinammon staining recipe and baked dry in the oven.

Tucked inside the heart pocket is some fragrent Sweet Annie, cinnamon sticks and some red pip berries. The outside of the pocket as adorned with four small jingle bells and a darling little key charm that was secured with a rusty safety pin.

The heart was secured to a neat old textile with tightly wrapped jute. A strip of tea-stained muslin was hand stamped with hearts and tied in a simple knot around the base.

Also included is a grungy little Valentine's Day themed hang tag.

This Primitive Valentine Heart Make Do measures about 18 inches high and about 8 inches wide.
