This wonderful Saguaro cactus sculpture was created by Native Seri / Mexican Indians of Ironwood. It measures 9 inches high, 5 inches across and 2 inches deep; very heavy for its size. Ironwood (palo fierro) is extremely dense and so heavy it will not float. The Indians carve it using primitive tools, letting the form of the piece of wood define the finished sculpture. This one is really very unique, well balanced, and has gorgeous grain! Beautiful piece, in new condition.
