1. They can be used as a regular plug-in-the-wall night light.
2. They are also emergency lights when the power goes out; these night lights will light up by the rechargeable batteries (included).
3. These night lights can also be used as a LED flashlight (powered by the three rechargeable batteries).

These night lights are UL Listed. All 100 nite lites are individually boxed and are brand new. The batteries (3 are included in each box) are blister sealed as well. Instruction sheet included in every box.
