Manual of Civil Government of Indiana This is a copy of "A Manual for Civil Government of Indiana, Township and County Town and City" from 1908. This book was taught to students in government and civics classes 100 years ago. The book describes the "Indiana legislature at work, the machinery of political parties, the law of controls written in the language of the schoolroom for citizens large and small." Condition: Used. Spine has minor wear on it, but the pages are still intact. A few small tears on inner pages, but no marks or anyting written inside. Contains about a dozen old photographs of elected officials from the turn of the century including congressmen and senators. Also a picture of the first woman to hold an office in Indiana. Great for teaching Indiana history!
