This is a George Jay Gould (1864-1923) Cabinet Card which came out ofa Pach Brothers Photography estate. George Jay Gould I was the son ofJay Gould who was a leading railroad developer and financier who wasvilified for many years as a ''robber baron,'' and George was also arailroad executive leading the Denver and Rio Grande Western and theWestern Pacific Railroads. The cabinet card is impressed with thePach Bros, N.Y. The imprinted writing on the original card isstraight and accurate.
