THE SAMARIA He is in a sitting position and there is a form of a stool behind him that he is sitting on. His kimono is a rich black with gold, green and red threads woven through out the kimono. All of the pattern and design are woven into the fabric. From the back you can see the cream pants trimmed in red and gold. Down the front is trim the same as the kimono and the pants. His attire is a replica of the Heian Period about 1000 years ago. The face is fabulous and has so much detail - the eyes look real. The face is hand painted. He is holding a bow and there are the arrows tucked into the back of the band of his kimono. And there is a sword tucked into his kimono. He is 8 1/2 in tall in the sitting position.
