We love to take walks at the refuge in the fall when the mosquitos are no longer such a problem! This photo was another one of those times where I am just walking along, looking around and enjoying our walk, and then I suddenly tell the children, “Just a minute… I see a picture!” I’m sure they were thinking, “Oh no… here we go again… Mom and her pictures!” But I couldn’t resist diverting over to the river a bit to get my picture I “saw”. I think they think I’m a bit crazy at times… but once again, I got my picture!! (I must remember to tell them “thank you” for their patience in putting up with me and my lagging behind to take pictures.)
