Vintage Crewel Embroidery Erica Wilson HB stitch dictionary I am offering the 1962 Book of the Club Month edition of Erica Wilson's Crewel Embroidery. This author was THE authority on needlework back in the 1960's and 1970's. This book is in MINT condition, with clean crisp pages, strong block and tight hinges. There is no dust jacket, although the cloth cover is also in LIKE NEW condition. This crewel embroidery is intended as a how-to book for the beginning embroiderer and as a stitch resource for the experienced needleworker. She does include design techniques, although there are no actual patterns or projects. The dictionary and stitching guide for 64 embroidery stitches is excellent, with clear diagrams to show how the stitches are made.
