This is a circa 1914 Quincy Illinois Empire Theatre show program for "Daddy Long-Legs" starring Henry Miller and written by Jean Webster. This performance was given on March 13th. Front page illustration shows a man and woman in box watching a stage show. The woman is holding a Empire Theatre program. Illustration is signed E.R.B '12. This 8 page program contains the character cast for the Daddy Long-Legs performance and is packed with many local business advertisements. We have included all eight pages in photos to the left. There is no date given in this program other than the illustrator's signature on front page. But on the back page is an advertisement for the March 14-15 showing of the motion picture Cinderella, starring Mary Pickford. According to movie databases this movie came out in 1914.

This program is in good condition considering its age. Measures approximately 6" wide by 9" tall. All pages are still secure by two staples. Pages have nicks and very small tears around the edges. Some staining and typical page age toning around edge of paper. (qcy1100)
