This is a lovely platter. It is decorated with hand painted pink flowers, black stems and leaves. It was made by Stetson China Company, which was founded in 1946 in Lincoln, Illinois and was in business until 1966. Their hand-painted dinnerware is very similar to that of Blue Ridge and is often confused with it. Neither company marked all of their pieces.
The platter measures 11.75" long.
The back of the platter is stamped under glaze: AMERICAN HERITAGE / DINNERWARE / Hand Painted / LINCOLN, ILL. / 1954 / COPYRIGHT.
This medium oval platter is in very good to excellent condition. There is one tiny flea-bite on the back rim edge; it measures maybe 0.10 centimeter (see in last photo).
