Back Cover Painting: This month's back cover painting depicts a Kelly Field Curtiss Jenny engaged in some aerial fun and games to relieve the drudgery of flight training.

The artist is Hugh Polder (EAA 135999), 3540 W. Beach Ave., Chicago 60651. Born in Cincinnati in 1930, he lived his early years near Lunken airport. This is where his fascination with aviation began. Hugh later enrolled in the Central Academy of Commercial Art and in 1951 enlisted in the Air Force where he was assigned to the 3300 Publications Unit at Scott Field, St. Louis. There he illustrated Tech Manuals on weather, survival and various aspects of flying. Today, Hugh is a free lance artist and is available for commission work.

This magazine is in very good condition. The spine is tight and secure with no loose pages. The covers are mostly clean with very little wear. The pages are clean and unmarked. The magazine measures approximately 8 1/2" x 11" and contains 92 pages including covers. (mag803)
