This is a lovely, vintage figural plate. It has three horned owls on a branch. The lower, curved section of the plate is reticulated. The lacey edge looks like woven textured rattan canes. The center owl is the largest and tallest. Westmoreland Glass Company produced fine milk glass from 1889 until 1985 when the plant closed.
The plate measures 7.375" across, though the descriptions list width as 7 1/2".
The back of the plate has the overlapping W G mold mark. This mark was used from the late 1940's until about 1982.
This plate is in excellent condition. There are no flea-bites, chips, cracks or repairs. (china283)
