In creating this necklace and earring set I combined dog ear shaped turquoise beads, 4 mm carnelian beads and sterling silver findings including ear wires, crimp covers and a toggle clasp. The necklace is 17" in length and has a bib like appearance. The turquoise beads are are called dog ear as they look like a hound dog ear and are about 1" to 1 1/4" by 5/8" to 3/4" by 1/8".
The earring are 1 1/2" plus the sterling ear wires. The matrix in the turquoise nicely matches the dark carnelian beads! The necklace has a bib like look.
