Americana Homespun Cotton Rag wreath~ Handmade This wreath is perfect for the quilt collector or one who likes a uniquely American design. Each wreath is handcrafted and one of a kind.
Strips of QUILT QUALITY Homespun cotton Fabric strips are hand cut and hand tied. The color scheme in this piece is a Denim Blue,red and white. Every other strip of fabric is different for an elegant yet interesting design. Accent fabrics are evenly sprinkled thoughout the wreath giving you highlights and an easy compositon that comfotably leads your eye around the piece. The wreath is built on a wire frame that measures 12in. The fabric makes the finished measurement come in at approx 15-16in wide. Please consider this an excellent value as these pieces take many many hours to create.Pic also shows the back so you can see how it is built as well as neatly finished. ~Each piece uses only high quality woven fabrics. A true woven is the same on both sides allowing me to achieve a piece that is completely finished with no wrong side showing.Wovens also allow for a gentle frayed look.

~Each piece is carefully designed. Most designs have a pattern allowing me to use many differnt fabrics and achieve highlights and low lights in a way that brings your eye around the composition. Accent fabrics are carefully placed in balance with the main fabrics used.
~Each strip of fabric is hand cut along the grain of the fabric to achieve that wonderful rag/frayed look that is so popular now with rag quilting. This is your perfect accent piece! And since many are quilt quality fabrics, you mayalready be quilting with these fabrics!
~Each strip of fabric is handtied on a wire frame, NOT pushed into straw or foam. This allows you to have longevity, ease of cleaning and a sturdy piece that will last forever.You can vacuume them, throw them in the dryer to freshen, or use a lint roller and they will still be in tact.
