It gave attention to statements of the news and public issues and was ranked as one of the most important weeklies of the period. Condition: Hard cover, Bound Volume, Ex-Lib-usual stamps/marks; all original front and back covers have been removed; covers show slight wear with light soiling; lining paper is tore inside front cover, spine seam is cracked in several places so little loose; few small soiled specks, few small tears & edge chips and light age discoloring especially on outer page edges. Overall a good copy.
