These folks provided some of the best instruction books for the needlearts ever published! The experienced needlecraft and fancywork artesians of the late 1800's (Victorian era) clamoured for this type of item and with good reason! (Original is NOT for sale)
This HISTORIC book contains 67 pages of steel plate etchings, instructions, designs and fundamentals for creating the extremely handsome soft furnishings of the Victorian era! There are 78 DIFFERENT EMBROIDERY STITCHES in this item! There are 19 FULL-PAGE SIZED ANTIQUE EMBROIDERY PATTERNS for crazy quilts, redwork, blackwork, whitework, doilies and centerpieces included!
