Thirty-five (35) pieces (originally 36 but, one got lost) of spoons commemorating the past presidents of the United States of America prior to Nixon. Each spoon measures approximately 6" in length. On the tip of the handle is embossed the likeness of the president it is representing and below that, the number he represents in the succession of the presidency as well as the inclusive years when he was in office. Embossed on the stem of the handle is the name of the president written vertically. On the bowl of the spoon is a raised depiction of something which happened during his presidency. For example, in Lincolns spoon is a quote from his Gettysburg Address in November 19, 1863. In James Polks spoon is depicted the annexation of Texas, California and New Mexico. At the back of each spoons stem is stamped WMROGERS MFG. CO. as well as the letters IS.
The spoons represent the following past presidents:
Abraham Lincoln James K. Polk
Lyndon B. Johnson John F. Kennedy
Harry S. Truman Franklin D. Roosevelt
Herbert Hoover Warren G. Harding
Calvin Coolidge Woodrow Wilson
Theodore Roosevelt William Howard Taft
Grover Cleveland Benjamin Harrison

The spoons are in pristine condition. No scratches and no deformities. Some are a little tarnished but, otherwise in good condition. The presentation box made of plain carton, however, is starting to deteriorate and break-apart.
This has been in the family for forty (40) years.
